What to Expect From 6.5-06 AI With Barnes LRX

Have a 6.5-06 AI with 26" barrel and would appreciate any info on what to expect
with the Barnes 127 gr. LRX and R22 powder ?
New unfired barrel on a 700 action.

Would you start at 55 grains ? and work up to 58 grains ?

Load will be used for hunting.

Is it realistic to expect 3100 - 3150 fps with a 26" barrel ?

I would start with standard 6.5-06 max loads and work up from there. A standard 6.5-06 pushes 130s at 3100+ so I don't see why the Ackley couldn't get 3175 with a good load.

Will start at 56 grains Reloader 22 and work up to 58 if possible.

Any other powder worth trying ?

In the 6.5x284 I have to use less powder than a similar weight lead bullet and hit pressure sooner. IMR 7828ssc worked where the usual H4350, IMR4359, H4831, etc didn't.
