This is my second Atlas Bipod. I have used the Atlas for several years and quite a few hunts and I believe this to be the absolute best on the market. I have used others and will never use anything else because nothing else compares! I actually purchased this one for my son as he used mine and had to have an Atlas!
It is top of the line. I recommend it for any long range shooter. The way it moves shows how much new technology has gone into this bipod. No more spring with the Harris bipod. I now have a 21st century bipod.
Not only am I very impressed with the Atlas Bipod but my Local Gun Store is too. They took my rifle for the weekend to sight in a new Nightforce scope and they came back with raves about the bipod. They reported that all three components - rifle, scope and bipod worked beautifully together allowing them to shoot beautiful groups very quickly. I will be shooting the gun this weekend and look forward to getting acquainted with all components. I would definitely recommend the bipod to anybody. I took Len Backus' recommendation for the Atlas Bipod and am not disappointed. Thanks Len!
I expected a very good quality product with the Atlas BT10-LW17 and when it arrived is was better than that. The attention to detail and relative simplicity is outstanding. While some of the adjustments are very stiff at first, small amounts of gun oil and repeated motion of the parts should clear that up but it is a pain initially. Easy set up and great position adjustment. The product is very pricey but in the overall scheme of a high quality custom long range rifle.........what isn't.
