PRS allows you to check/adjust zero, before each match. Hunting doesn't allow you to do this.
So the scope PRS shooters use is irrelevant.

I have a friend that shoots PRS a bunch. He has 2 Leupold VX-5's. He has 2 of them, so he has one to use while the other is back for repairs. He uses the VX-5's, because the reticle works best for him shooting PRS.
When he drew a sheep tag a few years ago he went with a NF NXS, because the VX-5's don't hold zero.
