30 ounce high magnification scope?

Nightforce Competition 15-55x52 weighs around 27 ounces ~ world class optics .
Yesterday I noted 6 mm bullet holes on my 1000 yard target, I can't do that every day but when the conditions are right it's nice to note.

Nothing really matches March 5-50x56 under ~30 oz. Closest is Nightforce ATACR 7-35, ZCO 5-27, S&B PM II, or Kahles K525i but all are heavier and/or lower magnification. March is basically the outlier in that weight-to-magnification range.

The vast majority of my hunting is deer hunting. My normal area is 30 yd to 600 yd.

Maybe three or four times I needed full magnification to verify if game animal was legal. The first one I remember was a 4 to 24 Leupold VX6 when they first came out and I used 24 power. Then I had a Swarovski z5 5 to 25. I needed 25 power with that one. Another time I had a Bushnell four and a half to 30 and 30 was barely enough due to the surrounding brush.

2 years ago Oregon switched doe tag could be a spike. I was not used to looking at the headgear for visible antler. When I got up to it, they had like spikes. In the future I need to be a headhunter and looking for even the smallest nub before I fire when I'm doe hunting.
