Need advice on barrel/throat trash or not

That is the best looking "trash barrel" I have seen.

If the gunsmith made zero effort to actually clean and check that barrel, I would be looking for a new gunsmith.

The lands are not only present, but the taper in looks crisp

I couldn't be bothered stating the obvious.

I am shooting barrels that look worse than that…

If SS & out of the action, use some CLR on that and it should clean right up.
