Glad I bought up 60000 primers for $20 a thousand 3 years ago .They were on clearance all federal but I got li l e 15000 federal 215 mag primers 15000 large rifke 210 and 10000 federal match primers large rifle. I GOT A bunch of federal large shotgun mag primers .I didn't get any pistol rest whew all small rifle bunch of match .I just saw win sr for $62 1000 at bass pro
Same here.
Mine were bought back about 15 or so years ago allthough they weren't on Clearance. I bought 50,000 of each -WLP/WSP/WLR and about 75,000 CCI #41(these were $17.00 per 1,000) but only bought 5,000 WLRM because I didn't foresee loading many of those (now I use them to load .257/7mm/.300 Weatherby and .270/.300 WSM) and 500 CCI #35 for my .50 BMG. Hindsight being 20/20, I'd have bought a LOT more of the WLRM and CCI #35's. I can't begin to imagine how expensive it would be right now for someone just starting to Reload.
FWIW, I'M NOT the one that caused the shortage, LOL! Mine were bought way back before ammo prices took off and there were plenty of Components available online.

I saw the boy alert several hours late and still got a brick. I again checked this morning and they are still available. Amazing!

I picked up a carton of Winchester LRMP the other day at Scheels in The Colony, Texas. They had a pretty good stack and I'm pretty sure they don't ship.

Every time I build a new rifle, I try to buy an extra 1000!!lol I have plenty, but a guy can never be to prepared for a drought.
I did the same thing a few years ago with precussion caps for my muzzleloader. When I ordered them the gun shop owner looked at me like I had 3 heads! Glad I did.
