Have a Sako 75 in 300 RUM with a 1:11 twist, hoping to shoot Badlands Bulldozer 175's, need to test and see if they will stabilize in that barrel, if anyone has an extra 10 of these I would be happy to buy them from you, please message me if you do,
Erik, I used that yesterday and think it would be best to see if the bullets push through paper at 100 and 400 without tumbling. ThanksBerger has a stability calc on their site.
Thanks, will do!stick with the recommended 1-10 or faster. just going through the paper straight is not enough with all copper bullets no matter the manufacture. monos are a different beast compared to cup and core bullets, over stabilization is good for proper expansion and to continue to track straight after impact. Badlands makes a few options better suited for your twist, stick with those and avoid the disappointing performance people have had by unstabilized mono bullets and then blame the bullet manufacture.
