I had the WANTS and just put a deposit on a Seekin's Element in 6.5 PRC. wanting to put a dedicated suppressor on it. I have a Rugged Razor that I use on a couple other rifles and really like it but would like to keep the weight down since they say the base rifle will be in the 5.5 lb. To you guys who have one what suppressor are you using? Was kind of looking at the Gunwerks 6IX+ Ti as well as a couple of different Q suppressors. Would appreciate any input you have.

I don't consider the Sandman-L a runner up because I don't support anything from Thunder Beast. I use the Sandman with excellent results and it is more reasonably priced.

Everyone has a different opinion for many different reasons. Do your research, compare and talk with some real experts not just the drivel on the internet.

From the article above:

Overall Runner-Up

When it comes to choosing the runner-up in contests of any kind, you can put the top two contestants next to one another and have an almost impossible time telling which one took first place and which one came in second place. That's because the two are so very close, neck-and-neck at the finish line, that the only thing that puts one ahead of the other was something very minuscule.

That's the case here with the Dead Air Sandman-L. We put it in the runner-up spot simply because that's where it fit among the opinions of plenty of other shooters and suppressor owners. If you ask what people own, they first say TBAC, quickly followed by Dead Air.

This suppressor is made and constructed from the same materials as Dead Air's "S" version of the Sandman, so you know you're getting the same quality as its little brother, but with the added advantage of a bit more sound suppression due to the added length.

Dead Air's QD mounting system is quick and easy to use, even with just one hand. The mount features Nitride finished 17-4 stainless steel construction for extra durability.

The baffles make up a solid welded core with a detachable front cap featuring an integrated flash hider. Because the front cap can be removed, you can switch it out based on the caliber you're shooting: 7.62/.308, 5.56/.223, or 6.5 Creedmoor.

The Sandman-L ships with a 5/8×24 muzzle brake, but is compatible with a wide variety of different muzzle brakes and flash hiders.

Advantages:
  • Front caps can be changed based on the caliber
  • Compatible with different brakes and hiders

Disadvantages:

Aside from the front cap, the user cannot take it apart

Specs: Dead Air Sandman-L
Caliber: 7.62/.308
Weight: 21.8 oz
Length: 8.9"
Price: $1,199

Mine was priced significantly less than the Thunder Beast a couple of years ago.

Enjoy the search!

The Nomad LT is just over 12 oz and 8.4" long, it's one of the quietest suppressors available in the 30 cal arena.
It makes my 6.5 saum sound like a nail gun.
I'd avoid Gunwerks and Q
