I know I said I would never own one but after shooting a buddy's. I bought a S&W M&P10 PC
6.5 Creedmoor. These are fun to shoot and are a lot more accurate than I expected..A whole lot more!
I think I'm going to deer hunt with it this season I'm sure it will work.
And at 1000 bucks they seem like a nice rifle for the price? Anyone have any experience??

What made you buy it?
I bought a 6.5x47 Lapua after extensive research.

I don't think I will ever own a Creedmoor, but it is just a fad.

I still have a 264WM and a 6.5x55 Swede, guess there aren't too many other options.
Have owned a 6.5-284 barrel I never shot and 260AI and a 6.5-06AI.
None were As good as the 264WM for accuracy, other than the 6.5x47.

A 26 Nosler might be on the cards for me in the near future.

Cheers.

$1K is an excellent price. Congrats and have fun with it! Admit it, you bought one because of its inherent accuracy. :D:cool::rolleyes:

Welcome..... I'm actually just jumping off the 6.5 and getting on the 6mm creed bandwagon. I'll have another 6.5 soon though! I technically still have the barrel and it still shoots well so I can go back to 6.5 whenever I get the itch

I had one built a few years ago so that my dad, brother and myself all had the same caliber. Plus I didn't have a medium range short barrel hunting rig.
I have to say they are Awsome. That is when used at proper ranges. I've taken over a dozen deer, few dozen hogs and an audad, and scimitar oryx with mine.
Once I switched to the hammers it became a much more useful round on game. No the best round for long range steel but it is great at distance I feel ok taking game at.
