What bullet would you use in 1 in 8 300WM?

Hammer bullets are hard to find here in Alberta Canada. Other wise I would give them ago.

The Accubond Long Range is a good bullet, some have reported explosive behavior at close range but others reported to love it. The hammer is lokely the closest thing to an all around bullet, with the only sacrifice being some b.c., the next best one with the best track record would be the 215 Berger Hybrid. If that absolutely isn't an option, then I would look at the accubond long range.

Any of the options given will kill game if the shooter does their job.

You are right Cody the shooter has to do his part. I think I may look at the Nosler 219 ABLR for sure.

Wildbill im from MB and hunt elk in Alberta for the last five years. 215 Berger has been great out of my 10 twist 300 Win Mag. My bull two years ago was shot at 625 yds. H1000, Fed GM215M, Nosler brass 26" Brux at 3000 fps. 30 thou off is the sweet spot on my gun.
