Berger 6.5mm 156 gr. bullets. . .where are they???

Meanwhile my 26 Nosler sits in the safe, waiting for redemption with the 156's
As well as the 7.5 twist .264 win mag that my father and I specifically built for the 156....hunting season 2019 is slowly creeping up, wonder if they will be available to the general public for this season or if we will have to wait yet another hunting season....

tick tock Berger, tick tock.

My 26" 1:7.5" 6.5SS parts are showing up now. I bet my 8 month long lead Manners stock that I ordered in January will be here before the 156 Elites are released at this point.

With Matrix bullets getting shut down from exporting to the US, I am pretty ****ed.

Sierra kicked Berger butt big time with their new 6.5mm and 30 cal bullets, sent them scurrying back to the think tank basement wondering HTF that happened !

now the Hornady boots are set to commence the arse kicking with the A-Tip bullets .....

In the solid copper dept, they'll have a hell of a time trying to outdo what Badlands and Cutting Edge are doing in regards to high bc and accuracy combined ...

Will Berger prevail with the 6.5 and 30 ..... eventually ?

I sure hope they do, the bullets will definitely set the bar even higher

unless they have abandoned the projects ?

I'm a Berger guy at heart, but I've switched most of my rifles over to Hornady just because of supply issues. Nothing worse than spending the time, money, and barrel wear to develop a load, and then the bullets go our of stock for a year at a time or more.

I can't see the 156 having anything on the new 153 A-tip.

Accept actually being designed for hunting

I suggest you stop waiting for Berger to produce, forget Hornady and give Hammer bullets a try. For uncompromised velocity, accuracy and penetration, Hammer excels and gives the hunter a bullet you can rely on. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. I've just finished doing ladder tests for my 270WSM and 338 Federal and I'm delighted with the results. Take the time and do some research and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Burger Bullets and Unicorns are very similar. You hère about all the magic but never see one to confirm. I bet there were a ton of shooters that were waiting on the 156. Better off to use 150 SMK.

have been using multiple brands of bullets in several of my wildcats with awesome performance , on game, targets and rocks in the mountains here in Alaska ...

Always willing to test and shoot different brands of bullets and have been over the years, definitely not "sold out" or have been "bought" by any mfg ...

like some experts appear to have been, fairly easy to spot them
