Thanks,I loaded some with 70 gr of 4831sc because it's what I have . I'm going to stop by and pick up some imr7828 as well.

Get some RL 26. It it's great in the 270wby.
I do 3480fps with 129lrx
3280 fps with 150 vld and 150 ablr
3350 fps with 140 berger classic hunter

I ran the 70 grans of 4831sc last night with the 140 ballistic tips. Results were so so, I was getting 1-1/4 groups at 100 yards and for me that sucks. So now it begins the game of finding the right load.

I also tried 140 grain accubond s with 70 gr. 7828 coal 3.26 I'm getting about one inch groups. Still not happy I think I can get it tighter

I agree 7828 is a great start with powder for 270wby to give a baseline. 7828 is to 270wby what 4831 is to 270 win. That being said I've had good luck with h1000 and re33 with my 170 bergers.

I'm going to try h1000 with a 150 gr. Accubond.
