Shooter App for Iphone

All of a sudden my Shooter App will not connect with the weather station to populate temp, pressure, humidity, etc. I have not changed anything and I have checked to see that cell data and location services are on and enabled.

Any clue to what it could be?

Go into your iPhone settings and scroll down to the Shooter app. Check in there to make sure the automatic atmosphere is enabled. If that isn't it maybe try rebooting the phone.

Did you upgrade to iOS 8? Mine doesn't work at all after the upgrade.

Unfortunately he hasn't updated the app for the iPhone in a couple of years. I was a bit surprised that it worked when iOS7 came out, and it doesn't surprise me that it now crashes with iOS8. Given that the owner hasn't even fixed the little problems I found and discussed with him 2 years ago I'm not holding my breath that he'll fix the big ones. I suspect that the app is now "dead" for the iPhone.

It's too bad, as I really do like the app. If he doesn't want to fix it I wish he'd sell it to someone who would get it up and running correctly.

hey guys do you need cell service to run these apps while in the field. I have been thinking about coming out of the ice age and joining the 21st century but I have so many unanswered questions

I am using Shooter App and it works fine for me , but there was a second update on iphones after the first IOS 8 IOS 8.2 maybe that has something to do with it not working for you

The newest update still doesn't fix the problem. If you try and add new bullet profiles your app will shut down. If you have existing profiles already in there it will work just fine.

I know this is old post but I was having the same problem as you guys were. I deleted the app and then reinstalled it. Now you have to go to manageshooterapp.net. Google it. There you have to reinstall all your info, the go to shooter and sync it. Can't do it the old way And make changes here and there. Any change needs to e done through the manage shooter app web sight.

I just looked there is an update and the bugs have been fixed.

I've been using Mid-Dot Ballistics for the Iphone for a few years now and have found it to work pretty well for me.

Been using bullet flight with no problems. It did crash when ios 8 first came out, but bullet flight updated for ios8 and it's been smooth sailing for the past month.
