Yes I talked to them at a gun show, it will take 5 quick readings and give the avg of 3 closest to each other, also you will not have to hold it so standing to get reading once on push and done way faster. They are working with company now no ETA. Does sound very nice.

It will read out a distance corrected for temp and pressure as well as the angle. Max distance should be considerably longer than Swarovski's.

Yes, one is coming out, but I haven't handled one personally. Currently, I have a Swaro, and that is what I will compare it to once I get my hands on one.

I have been reading up on (and emailing) both the helpful Nightforce people and equally helpful US Optics people. I have a couple of questions, especially since you also have Nightforce scope(s): How does the Huskemaw compare in the 'durability' department?
I have heard that both Nightforce and (especially US Optics) are very touch and sturdy. Do you know the thickness of the Huskemaw tubes, how do they compare to the other two brands?
Secondly, does Huskemaw scopes come with (or can they be installed upon special order) lit reticle?

As far as I know you cannot get one in a lit reticle, and I do not know the tube thickness on either. you could call both companies and ask, and they should have the info for you.
From the durability standpoint, I have had the Huskemaw on both my 7mm Dakota and my 338 Lapua Magnum Improved (338AX) with no problems holding zero or in tracking.
Can't comment on the USO's-Never used one.

Ernie, I like your review of the scope and find it spot on with my experience with it. I have some experience with the Huskemaw, durability and hunting use so thought I would share it.
Last November during a Bull Elk hunt I strapped my gun in the rack on the 4-wheeler and stared down a muddy rocky trail. Apparently I didn't get one of the straps on the rack in the notch and it popped loose. The muzzle of my gun jumped out of the rack and hit the ground. Before I got the 4-wheeler stopped the butt came loose of the rack and I ran the gun over. I was horrified, thinking that my brand new gun and scope were ruined. The muzzle was plugged with mud, the scope caps popped open and were packed full of mud, the turret cover was smashed and there was a nick on one of the rings. After a thorough cleaning I check my zero at 100 yards and the gun was dead on. I then found a rock to shoot at 885 yard and again the gun was dead on. I've had my Leupold loose it's zero after a much lighter fall walking through dense downfall. The scope is crystal clear, the optics are better than my Leupold VX-III, I don't have much experience with higher end rifle scopes so I can't make a comparison there. The elevation and windage adjustments have been 100% repeatable and the reticle is great, I think these two items are more important than optical clarity on a rifle scope anyways. Everybody who looks through my scope wants one, with those owning Swarovski's saying it rivals their scopes for optics. I love it, just wish I could afford another one so I didn't have to swap it between guns.

Great article it answered all my questions about Huskemaw scopes. Talking about scopes losing zero, I took a nasty spill about five foot drop and landed on my rifle that has a Night Force on it. I shot it to check zero I was not impressed. I was 5 MOA left and 10 MOA low. I love Night Force but man it makes me wonder now.

Let me just say in defense to NF, and about any scope, if, it takes a hard hit, I doubt it would keep its zero.

Agreed. A 5 foot fall with a 150-200 lb guy falling on top of the gun would give most any setup problems. The issue isn't always the scope either. There are rings and bases involved as well.
