Scopes are gonna be the death of me

Guys I am looking for a new scope for my 270 weatherby accumark I would like a 4-14x50 or so. I was blown away by how much scopes have went up in the last couple of years. I would like to spend around 600 any ideas

More info please? Target Turrets or not? If so the new Vorex Viper PST will be out soon. If they are all they are supose to be they will be a great value. You might want to look at the current Vertex Viper line too. Great glass! and reasonable.

If you decide to go with the Vortex PST I strongly urge you to call Scott at Liberty Optics, seems like a real good person to do business with, not sure if he is still doing it but when I ordered my PST he knocked off 100.00 bucks and does free shipping on top of that, I got the 6x24 FFP for 799.00 Vortex has them listed on their website at 999.99

i would just order the MidwayUSA master catalog and flip through the pages. They have many brands to choose from and all prices are listed. it gives you a chance to look at and compare numerous scopes at one time.

the Leupold VX-3 4.5-15x40 is in my range but I really wanted a 50 mm obj. I have never had one I am typically a 2.5-8 kinda guy but I thought with the stock style of weatherbys if I was going to mount a big scope this would be the one to do it on. anyway thanks for everyones input.

Since you live in Austin, stop by Cabelas and see what they have in the bargain cave. I have picked up some very good deals on Leupolds.

Also may want to try brunoshooters.com, they are a little cheaper than alot of other places.

I just bought a 2-10x42 Minox ZA-5 for $500 from Cameraland. This is with the BDC reticle. I can't wait to mount the new scope and try it out. You can buy the 3-15x42 Minox ZA5 for about $600. from CameraLand.
