Who else hates this new app

I hate putting an app on my phone that isn't necessary.

Between payroll at work, to the doctor, the grocery store, fuel.

Heck! They even want an app for a freaking haircut!

I ain't doing it!

I tried if for a few days and deleted it . I didn't like the navigation and all the other links that appeared above this one. When I come here, I'm coming here, I don't want to sort thru ads and links to other sites to find this one.

Apps? I have a couple total on my phone. You have to go in and kill all the access of the Apps to your entire phone. Even then did I catch it all? Data brokers love Apps. So does gov't entities. No I don't have tin foil hat on. Yet.

Definitely not a fan of it myself. Not easy to navigate and replying to a post or writing one is difficult.

I'm with everyone else. But now I get an OOPS YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET or something like that without the app. Hit refresh and the LRH site comes on -MOST OF THE TIME. I'm about ready to say that enough is enough.

You have to clear your cache.

No APP for me but I also have issues with pages loading when not using the app. Admin told me it must be my phone or internet connection. It's not either. The links in the daily email update fail about 75% of the time. See below…. this is the only website I EVER get this message. Started about 3 weeks ago. It even happens when trying to open a link to another thread while already being logged on. I don't visit the sight as often now. Anyways….. it's a PITA.

Like several of you that have posted already. I am a tech person, just not "cell phone", I hate the **** things. Although they do have a convenience when on the road, etc. The one thing I always tell the app pushers is, "Why would I want to look at anything on a 3" x 5" screen when I can do it on a 30" screen. At 77 years old, I don't need their apps.

I used to be on here multiple times a day. Now I go days without look at it. This new app is harder to navigate and works terribly on my phone. If you have to type more than a couple lines to reply to someone forget it. You can't see what you're typing and then most times I can't get it to send.

I won't use the Gather App, I deleted it and use the old app

Same here, I haven't and don't intend to. This one works for me and I haven't heard anything good about the other one. Hopefully they don't shut this one down at some point.

What is an "app"? Will it work on my flip-fone?
