I'm guessing 150 - 175 fps slower than a 40. You'd have to get a fast twist for that sucker that's for sure. I think you should make this happen and see how your primal runs it. Should be awesome and maybe the 55 will give you 3 more shots before burning out the barrel……

So its a creedmoor with a blown out shoulder. I was thinking it was going to be based off the 6.5 PRC with a 40° shoulder.

Keep in mind the 20 cal has a lot higher bc grain for grain so it makes a pretty decent long range bullet spitter for such a light bullet.

Well yer the expert on the 20 wildcat...... seems like the rest of us are just living the dream through you. That stash of 55's is pretty much drool level. I'd something like neck my prc to a 20 and send those 55's. I am thinking I could find the node, zero the rifle, and get a hunt or 2 before having to rebarrel

Is this 20Primal going to give us something much better than a .204Ruger?
I see you have all the 55gr that Berger manufactured so you have the market on bullets. I think that Berger already knows the limit on their Cup & Core Bullets and then Brian calculated the BC.
Are you looking for this to be a TRUE 1K 20Cal?
There has been a few .17 and .20 Lasers that have come and gone.
I have done some hunting with the 204 Ruger, .223 and 22-250 and they all preformed well with the right bullet, Barrel Twist and Powder.
