Found Primers but are they too much $$$

WOW! that's just an insane jump in price. I for one feel for you guys in Canada. $500 for a brick of primers is harsh. I hope you and others stocked up. My ? Is why is it that much more up north then it is here in the U.S.?
Mostly because we don't make anything in this Country anymore except for oil, cows and liberals.

I would bootleg you some or just any if possible, but I'm at least 900+ miles from the twin cities straight up I35 with a small veer of 150 miles off HWY60 (included in the milage). Some things money can fix and other can't. @Coyote Shadow Tracker knows what I'm talking about!

We had state high school football in Houston back in'15 and that 600 mile drive S.U.C.K.E.D! Even the weather in December was horrible (the 17th at 10 am was the game). A lot better when it was at AT&T stadium (350 miles). That year we played a team from Refugio (165 miles from Houston).

I appreciate that.
Does it have to go thru an FFL or just any supplier of munitions and components in Canada? I wonder if some of the import/export places can do a transaction for you as places won't ship out of the 48 lower states (Biden stated 52 states in all). I've seen firearms from other countries can be bought, but need to go thru these places.

There are ways to do it legally, but after the export fees and Duty at border financially it hasn't made sense. {Canadian side of border doesn't care, it's leaving the US that's the issue.}That's changed now because primers are so expensive on the open market. But like most folks, I buy them when I see them. Powder isn't great either, about $100 a pound, more in private sales. And you don't get to pick a powder for your rifle, you get to pick what's on a shelf lol. The committed shooters bought when we saw things going bad, and continue to do so. In my life what I've seen is, once the shelves in the US get stocked pretty decent, 4-5 years later we see some product numbers improving up North here.

Do it as 1 penny sale and they can tax that if based on price than product! Work a horrible situation into a rainbow of a day😇

It took me a few days/trips (2 box limits), but I got 10 to supplement what I have. It comes to $84.90 a brick, not what I am accustomed to from years ago, but it is available to me with no shipping/hazmat.

I used to get it shipped at total cost (brick + all shipping cost) @ 3 cents/per. Before online was a thing, I'm not sure where I bought any components..........maybe Billy Fred's in Amarillo?

Yes in Canada the private sales market is stupid high prices, almost nothing available in stores. For the first time in a really long time I seen name brand primers available in a local gun store, cci br2's, for $329.99/ brick. Believe it or not that is a fair amount cheaper than private sales.
