So Barnes recommends 0.050" minimum jump. That seems like a mile! What is working for you guys?

Also, what loads are working best? Hotter or backed off a bit?

Any other tips?

I typically start at .050 and work back. If by .100-.120 I haven't found a node I'll go forward of .050. You have to be very careful as they can spike pressure really fast as you get closer to the lands.

I usually find a node somewhere between .050 and .080.

All Barnes bullets seem to like a lot of jump. Ttsx in 30/06 and .243 Winnie both jump more than 50 thou in my rifle. (Switch barrelling a Savage).

Due to magazine length constraints, I load 190 gr. LRX's in my 300 WEA. @ 200 thousands off the lands. 3 shot groups run @ .050/.060. I tried loading them at varying depths in 10 thousands increments and single loading them. Accuracy was very consistent until I got down to 80 thousands where group size doubled. While every gun has its own preferences, all of my rifles (4) that I shoot Barnes bullets in, do better @ 60 thousands or more. I should also note that all these loads are at, or close to maximum.

I've been using and reloading Barnes for years. All of mine are at 0.05" or a little more and very accurate. In my .243, .270, 7mm-08, and 338 Federal, all of my loads are at or within 1 grain of the listed book max for powder charge. At least in my rifles, they seem to like the higher end of powder charges. I have found a few accuracy nodes at lower charges, but I didn't like the velocities I was getting. I use these for just plinking and having fun, but use the higher end for my hunting loads.

Are the blue tips always off center?….talking about 0.006-0.008"

I have noticed that the tips are off center a bit in most of the tipped barnes bullets that I have used. I have not tried to measure how much, but it is visible and I would guess that 0.006"-0.008" is close. It doesn't appear to affect the accuracy though.
