which would you choose a Tangent Theta or Scmidt & Bender for for a long range and hunting scope.

I have a tt hunter moa never mounted I would sell. Bought it to put on a build that is long overdue, in the mean time I've been switching over to mil if anyone is interested.

That is a great scope I am sure you will find a buyer no problem. They are lighter than the 5-25x56 model and were made for hunting rifles. Basically from what I have read a lighter version of the 5-25x56.

Looks like they have the 5-27x in MOA
Again, they are releasing the MOA this year. I spoke to ZCO a couple of months ago, and have been keeping pretty close tabs on this.

I can't commit to a date for the release, but it is coming in the 4-20 mag range.

It's not available quite yet. I'm hoping to have one of the 4-20's in my hands soooon!

With the 10x zoom of the March they can't hold up with the optical qualities of the 5x zoom in the others.

None of my Marches are as clear above 20x
Also there is only one S&B dealer in the US if you are still considering one, Eurooptic/Scopelist(same company).

FYI, 2022 price list for S&B's is laughable. In a sad kind of way. S&B was already starting to price themselves out of the market, and I think this seals the deal, at least for me. For these prices, a ZComp or Tangent Theta is the clear choice. Better scope for less money, yes please.

Now if you are looking on the secondary market, that's a whole different ballgame as you can still find used PM II's in the mid two thousand range.

Yeah, S&B has lost the plot, as is so common among European companies.

I agree, the S&B's have gone off the chart with pricing. I bought my S&B when they were more reasonably priced. I do think the TT's and ZCO's will take a lot of share out of S&B's hide as. Recently chose the ZCO. The true difference between the TT and ZCO in terms of reliability/function won't be really be known for another 10 years before we will see if they actually stand up to the same rigors that the S&B has. IMO.

That's been going on for 8 years. No one I know that shoots seriously is running a S&B right now, unless its a backup rifle or some rifle they don't take super seriously.

We must run in different circles. S&B's were crapping out with regularity, while TT's are a sure thing and have been for nearly a decade. ZCO is the new kid with something to prove, and they are doing a good job of it.
