I was building one before the factory ammunition came out and waited for a reamer.I used a m24 8 twist Barten barrel on a stock 700 action I can hit 3000 fps with no problem 105 Berger hybrid and shoot one ragged hole at 200 meters all day I can seat the bullets long are short don't matter the picture has been up here before.when I shoot unlimited sniper this is what I use

I have a factory ruger american predator (I bought it for my 7 month old son, have to make sure it works properly lol) and with factory 108 eld-m I am getting half inch groups and an average velocity of 2940 with a 22" barrel up here in Montana. Elevation 3700 above sea level. I am sure when I reload for it I will be able to hit 3000+ fps with the heavies. I bought if for a long range coyote rig and deer/antelope rifle. It is so fun to shoot and so accurate. I will have a hard time putting my 6.5-284 down though but I might run the 6mm creed this upcoming season to see how it preforms.
I have a Ruger American Pred 6 creed too.
Shot better than expected in the factory stock but I dropped mine in an Oryx chassis. It has relegated some of my much more expensive rigs to safe queen status.

Yeah I bought it as first rifle for my son when he is old enough to go sit on coyote stands with me and hunt deer (age 10 in Montana) and I bought both factory 103 eld-x and factory 108 eld-m and they both shot under moa at 100 yards but the 108's were putting them in one jagged hole. I could not believe how well it shot with factory everything. I am looking at putting a new trigger or maybe a trigger spring into it and then working hand loads once I go through these 100 factory ammo cartridges I bought. Will be awhile but it is super light compared to my custom 6.5-284 (15 pounds) and I am thinking my Christensen 300 win mag will only be brought out for elk now. I am very impressed on how well it shoots. Shot it at 990 yards and it maintained sub-moa all the way out to that distance. Great setup for under $1000.

My 13 year old daughter and I shoot a pile of precision rifle matches with the 6creed using 112 Barnes at 2850fps. I have never had feeding issues.
She won a lilja barrel and we had it chambered in 6gt for her and a 6 dasher for me.
Talk about feeding issues. I got the feeding figured out on the dasher with primal rights magazine kits but that 6gt is still getting tuned up.
I will be going back to the 6mm Creedmoor this fall when her barrel is needing a rechamber.
That's definitely a bit discouraging because the whole point of the GT was that it feeds like a CM or 308 based case but shoots more like a BR or dasher. What magazines and action were you using?

That is exactly why I went this 6gt route.
Burn 10 grains less powder and same velocity with better barrel life..
Curtis axiom and Curtis valor actions.
AI mags and ARC mags.
Mag kits do not work with the GT.

I have done spring manipulation which is better, and a lot of guys are running the GT and loving it.

For an adult to get a recoil management ballistic edge it's worth it.
For a kid that weighs 95 pounds with short arms, and a 16 pound rifle, feeding issues of any kind are not acceptable.
We will get it figured out it's just that the creedmoor is so flawless.
I can tell you that a dasher or GT with 10 less grains of powder then the creedmoor at the same velocity heats up the barrel and or suppressor around half as much and recoils substantially less.

My buddy shoots the gt in rem700 action with magpul pro stock and American rifle company mag and it feeds good I tried his mag in my 6cm now I need one

I would love to hear any hunting results on the 6mm creed not trying to steal the OP post but I am very curious on how it works on game animals and varmints. Thanks!

It's not dead and it's not going anywhere. Still plenty of options out there. Savage makes numerous options, including the 110 in a hunting rifle for about $650, so does Ruger and a number of others.
Really? I can't find one anywhere. If you could tell me which website I would really appreciate it. I've checked Gunbroker, Armslist, Utah Rifle Exchange, Gunsamerica, Rokslide and here. Not a single hunting style rifle available under $1000. My local Sportsmen Warehouse nada.
