I rely heavily on my own senses, not labeling, bottling, whether it is blended or single malt, etc. I do not discriminate them for those reasons. I have done some blind tasting and it was a humbling experience.

Well I'm far from a connoisseur, but, I have yet to find a blended whiskey I liked and gave it a fairly good study for a few years when I was drinking liberally.

I got suckered by their marketing and Tried Tin Cup Whiskey a while back. I was really excited about it till about half way through the first sip.

Best thing about it, that bottle lasted a really, really, really long time as a result.

There are also about 900 dogs out of my breeding there now from the original seven I sent there about 12 years ago. They are taking over the Continent.

If you know the right people it's really doable. Even with travel expenses a ten day hunt in the RSA can run considerably less than a 3-5 day big game guided hunt in the US.
