I'm trying to re create the factory load data has anyone figured out what powder and how much to re create this load. Thanks
Thanks I've been seeing H4350 a lotIMO, probably superformance or H4350, used IMR 4064 for nephew's rifle.
I don't shoot the CM but in the 260 both RL23 and 26 worked very well for me with some surprising improvements in velocity over other powders.H4350 and RL26 seem to be the preferred powder for the 6.5CM.
Same here. I don't own a Needmoor but I do own a 260 and a 260AI. RL26 has been magic in both calibers with 140 class bullets.I don't shoot the CM but in the 260 both RL23 and 26 worked very well for me with some surprising improvements in velocity over other powders.
I tried Superformance in several different cases and never found one that really loved it.
The original load was with H4350 as mentioned above. It was at the request of Dennis Demile the shooter who was involved in creating the round that they use a commercially available powder and put the load data on the box. Since then I believe they have switched to a powder not available to the public. That being said if you cant find a good load with H4350 sell your rifle lol. R 26 has shown to give more velocity.
