Cartridge Base walks in Shellholder when seating

I'm using a Forster seating die in my RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme with a Lee shellholder. Sometimes the base of the cartridge will walk out of vertical position when I'm seating. I haven't measured the runout, but it can't be good. I don't think there is anything wrong with using Lee shellholders. Wonder what I'm doing wrong or if anyone has had this problem?

1. Sometimes I rotate the case and use multiple little strokes, but usually with the Forster seater I use a single stroke.
2. Yes, the base sometimes tries to walk out of the shellholder.
3. Sorry, I don't have pics, but if you take a cartridge and walk the base 1/4" towards the "exit" of the shellholder, you'll get the idea.
4. 7mm-08.
5. No copper shavings.

This may or may not cause runout.
I had a similar problem with Lee shell holders in an RCBS press.
I have no clue the brand of shell holder that came with my Bonanza 44 Magnum dies, but it too does not hold the cases in the centre of it during sizing, however there is no runout issues.
I use RCBS shell holders because they are better suited to the press. I have one shell holder here for 6.5x55 that is unknown brand and it will fall out of my both my Supreme and Turret press with little pressure on it, none of the RCBS shell holders do this.
Try a different shell holder, they're cheap enough to buy.

Cheers.

Change shellholders. The Lee is giving too much gap for your rim web thickness.
With proper clearance (not the 13'8" freeway bridge you have), the case should be held firmly by the shellholder and walking prevented.
Be sure to recalibrate the seater depth, though.
Might want to take apart your seater to see if anything is lodged in the seater cone.

Thanks very much. I will buy an RCBS shell holder. If I remember right, the three calibers I currently load all use the same one.
