Perfect! Which reamer did you go with for the 30xc?

manson custom .220 freebore we added the borerider throat

use a match bullet 210grain or so and tune down the velocity to reliable

2800 g7 .500

we shoot the 416xc 500 grain lazer @ 2930 so hoping with 100 grains more and almost straight sided case the 2800 seems possible . we should be able to compress rl26 past 130 grains

Multiply the G1 BC by .512 and it'll give a good start for the G7.

YES !!!! The 30 xc is at the slowest powder end of the scale 20n29 and is ok there not great 240grain up to 3350 if you went to 28xc what powder/bullet combo would get a good case fill ? there is no good answer to that question .

I have tried the 7mm-33XC. I was using a 30" hart 1-8 twist 6 groove barrel shooting the 195 bergers with 119 grains of 20N29 getting 3485 -3500 fps. That was max load. l backed it down to 116 grains 3445 fps and messed with the seating depth from .005 to .020 off the lands. I just could not get it shooting accurate enough for me. (I could have backed it down more but that defeats the purpose of trying such a overbore caliber)
I rebarreled with a 30-33XC and it has been relatively easy to get shooting well.

when we did our 30xc , we have a 6 twist with a standard throat could not get a good case fill with 20n29 so used our bore-rider reamer , gained 8 grains of powder and 150 ft/sec with 240 lazers and are stable .
