Just had a great morning at the range testing pressures for my 6.5 PRC. Only bummer is waiting between groups for the barrel to cool. Has anyone used a Magnospeed Riflekuhl? Any luck cooling the barrel quicker? Is this a bad idea?

I use one while testing. I actually like it, I am a firm believer in testing loads at barrel temps you plan to shoot at, and for that it helps.
Pull the filter and it moves air, way better than the original barrel cool. You could rig up a battery powered mattress pump for a third the cost and do better though, this is handy range bag size though.

Living here in South Western Florida, I am using a product called the chamber chiller.
I like and approve of this product and its ability to cool down rifle barrels fairly quickly due to the fact of having a high capacity cooling fan with a very small footprint.
if you are interested please use the web to find them and compare your options.
I'm certain that you will need to go over the specs twice in order to make a rational decision.
I have no affiliation to Chamber Chillers, I just use and support them!
Hope This will help you !

I just stick the rifle in the truck with the AC full blast and all the vents closed but the one shooting air up into the chamber. Seems to work.

But I shoot out in the middle of no where on BLM land so the truck is right next to me.

Yes, I have one. Sent the first one back because it has a loud annoying high pitch whine that I can hear with the electronic muffs. They sent a replacement and it is just as loud. Doesn't bother me too much but I know that it annoys the heck out of some of the other shooters if nearby.
It seems to work fairly well but goes through batteries pretty quickly.

All that but I didn't send mine back. If you use electronic muffs you probably won't like it otherwise it works. Take the little coffee filter thing out and you get better airflow.
And bring a spare battery. I use mine on multiple rifles so it's basically going continuously and a battery is toast after about 30 min.

I use one regularly but it needs a potentiometer to adjust the speed. On my Savage Striker it flows too much air, a slower speed would allow more heat transfer and cool quicker. I use a wet towel over my barrel to help cool quicker using evaporation to remove heat. I had 15 loads to test yesterday and it took a while to cool between loads. It is a handy size for the range bag.

Exactly I have an air mattress pump with a piece of clear tubing yes it's bigger but it puts air out at a much higher rate than anything like the rifle cool and I have $24 in the whole set up including batteries

Push it in to where it hits the shoulder and it's like a funnel it is not hard to stay in at all

The two rifles i use it on are 6.5 x 284 lapua and a 338 lm greatly different sizes of chambers but it works equally well in both

Here is a review on the top 5 used. and yes they do work.

One of these should fit your needs. I use one that uses a portable phone charger for a power supply
that works well and is rechargeable with a USB port.

I could get behind the Chamber Chiller, not too big, external battery pack. I carry a tin stuffed with batteries, 9 volt for magneto, triple A for muffs, AA lithium for kestrel, red dot sight batteries, etc..
And of coarse friends that shoot with me know of this stash, which makes me a resource, or warehouse.
