I called Hornady and asked what their 6.5 PRC load was. They said, 140 ELD-M, RL26, and Federal primers.
I'm using H1000 because I can't find 26.
Where is all the H1000 powder

Some are making comparisons and observing a very similar burn rate between h1000 and imr enduron 7977. For what it's worth. I have a pound of both and have yet to try either in my 300 win mag so I guess I'll see for myself if they're similar/if one is better.

I believe the new-ish US Navy .300 win mag sniper load uses a 220 smk on top of h-1000 as well

Yup. Military uses H-1000 for the .300WM rifles. I know- I've got 16lbs of it in my loading room.. A friend of a friend gave me 16 lbs of MILSPEC H-1000 in February. My 7mm-mag loves it.

Yup- I was blown away. He said I'm a vet so I deserve it. He also said he has a pallet load of it, lol. Holy crickey.
The MILSPEC name is WC-868.

I wonder how that compares to Hodgdon's US 869. The numbers are close and US 869 is very close to H 1000 on the burn rate chart. US 869 never seems to get much love from the long range shooters however. I heard that the special forces contract for their sniper rifle is why all the Retumbo has vanished, along with the fire in its production facility.

Honestly I don't know. I'm not well versed in burn rates etc.. I just load and shoot- look for good stable velocity and accuracy and move on. I do know on the can of WC-868 it states the commercial equivalent is H-1000. So far my 7mm-mag likes it, but I am still working up the charge to get it to where H-1000 performed. I normally run 70gr H-1000 under a Nosler 160gr.
I just found 8lbs or RL 26....

I have plenty of RL 26 but I went to their website and they had something rarer than pixie dust.
8 pounders of RL23. They now have 1 less.
At this rate you will be able to buy more than 2 rolls of toilet paper in no time!
PS: It let me put 10 8#'er's in my cart saying that they were in stock so if anyone needs any hurry up!
