6.5 creedmoor misinformation, a bit humorous but sad?

10 shots from my GAP 6.5CM with Hornady 147 ELD. Its an accurate round. To answer @Cliff Mitchell

Sniper Central builds a rifle for 600 bucks using a Remington 783

Buddy at work built a fast twist 243 on a Remington 783 and I gotta say, for the money I'm impressed. It didn't need a trigger, the dbm setup is acceptable. Screw on a barrel, bed into a good stock, and throw a Viper HS (on sale@the time) and he's got a sub-$1k tac driver.

What Strikes me is the use of the language. Doesn't read like an accomplished gun guy wrote it. Reminds me of the stuff marketing companies put out. Every couple of years a marketing company approaches us with a better way to reach our clients. They're lucky to get five minutes, never had one that understood the sport fishing business. Can't recall that any of them had ever fished or even visited Alaska. Anyway that's my take on this.

it reminded me of....

That's all I needed to know, I'm ordering two boxes right now. Anyone need a months supply of Rogaine?

I picked up a box of 6.5 cm ammo at academy, with no intention of buying it and 3 women immediately came over and ask for my phone number. So I did purchase the box and keep a couple rounds in my pocket. I dont think I could stand it if I actually bought a rifle chambered in 6.5 cm! It's the new Spanish fly......!

The 300 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC), released by Hornady earlier this year, was tested and selected by the Department of Defense for its extended long range sniper program following a rigorous evaluation process that saw the new Hornady 300 PRC outperform the 300 Norma Mag as well as several other cartridges in testing past 2,000 yards."

Still curious how this works

I have a Marlin xs7 in 243 I paid 250 bucks for it 300 out the door I put a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x30 on it and I was really impressed with the accuracy of a 243. I'm not the greatest shot in the world but I'm more than one occasion at a hundred yards I put them all touching.
