1942 husvarna m38 , never had it out of the stock to see what trigger is in it but it breaks at 2 pounds. No idea who sporterized it but they did a great job. Barrel is floated and action is glass bedded. Has a very affordable vx1 4-12 bdreticle With rl22 and 140 gamekings it will consistently group 1/4" at 100. 2650- over the crono , lapua brass 91/2 primers. I bought this in a local shop for 225 bucks about 5 years ago. And it is by far my best purchase. I ring a 6 inch steel plate at 450 yards till i'm bored.

... Stock is probably my least favorite thing about it. Wish I had gone with a pure vertical grip, I like the manners prs stocks a lot.

They do seem nice. What's that, an EH-2A? It's certainly nice enough looking.

Thanks, I think it looks good. It's more vertical than most sporter grips and I like that, I've just been shooting it mostly prone and kind of wondering why I was hesitant to go all vertical. In reality it's probably a great medium for general hunting

I wrestled with that too. I'm building a 6.5PRC, and I've got a Game Hunter and an EH4 sitting in the basement. We'll see, but I think the McM will get the nod when all is said and done.
