My wife decided rather than buy Swarovski binoculars and a Leica rangefinder she would buy the Bushnell Fusion ARC 1 mile binos. We were out one day looking for hares at 400+ metres and she felt sick. On another occasion the same thing happen while deer hunting. We loaned them to my cousin and the same thing happened to him. When I tried them I couldn't get the range indicator and the actual binos to focus at the same time no matter how hard I tried. She now uses Swarovski and a Leica 2000B but it was an expensive lesson. Maybe we got a bad pair of Bushnell's but I won't buy another pair but they did range well.

i would buy the new zeiss ht range finding binos, that glass is amazing.
A buddy of mine has had swaro binos for quite some time...wont pry them from his cold dead fingers....but he broke down and bought the Leica range finder bino.....he gave his slc binos to his kid......
Cabelas didn't have any Leica binos when i was there....might have changed my mind too....instead of Leupold 2800 of which I am currently really happy I bought.....

I am looking too and just cannot stomach the price for Leica, Zeiss or Swaro LRF binos (despite the quality).
For something that will do the job and not break the bank for me I am looking at the Vortex Fury's and the Sig BDX3000. Would love to see some real reviews on the Sig before deciding though. @ $1000ish street though, neither is a bad deal probably.
Currently have Zeiss Terra 10x42 binos and Zeiss 8x26 PRF so I would imagine either Sig or Vortex will be for sure more convenient and depending on glass on par or step up.

Vector makes great stuff if you're unlimited budget. Member "ELR Researcher" usually has a pair or two at a stunning discount from the new price. I've bought a set of Vector 21's from him. 12km against a grass hillside in full sun.

I have the Nikon 10x42mm Laser Force. Pretty good setup for the money. The glass is clear and contrast is good. I compared to the Vortex Furys and clarity with the Nikon seems a little better. Light gathering is good but not quite up to my Leupy 10x50mm binoculars. Range finder is fast and I can range tree tops out to 1600 yds. Adjusts range for inclination but does not provide ballistic data like some others. Battery life is good. The actuator button is hard to find by feel as it flat to the housing. I have to look to find it with gloves on.
I'll bite. Leica Geovids - 2200, 2700 or the 3000. #buyoncecryonce

I have owned two sets of 10x42 Leica Geovids, amazing glass, but I really like the bluetooth option in the new Zeiss Rangefinders, they are one I would look at if you need the ballistic app.
But any of the Leica, Zeiss or Swarovski rangefinders are amazing, only thing I didn't care for on the Swarovski was the body bumps on the Tubes when you hold them up, slightly uncomfortable for me but minor in the big picture.

I have a pair of Ziess they have great glass but..... They are very sensitive to the angle they are held to your eyes. My pair is about 7 years old so may the problem has been fixed. The problem may be worse because I wear glasses but that really should not be an issue with binos of this quality and price. If it were me I would buy a set of Lieca's and be set. They I believe are probably still the LRF binos to beat.

I bought a pair of Leica 15x56 geovids. I got to try my bosses and knew I wanted them. I actually sold the coolest motorcycle I have ever owned to buy them (KTM 690
SM).
They have changed the way I hunt (and my buddies).
Mounted in a tripod, I find more deer than I ever thought possible. We used to wander from ridge to ridge and take naps during the mid day. We used to cover a lot of mountain miles. Now we cover less than half the ground because we can't stop finding bedded deer to look over. They seem to pop out everywhere I look. It makes me sick wondering how many bedded bucks I have looked past in recent years with lesser quality and lower magnification. I actually feel like I'm cheating at this point.
I no longer carry a spotter when elk hunting (since I really only need to know legal or not).
Since owning them I'm 4 for 4 this year (Spring Black bear Sitka blacktail, my biggest bull and a nice mulie). No long shots as I didn't get the opportunity and I honestly would rather be in bow range whenever possible.
This is my first ever high-dollar optics purchase, assuming that Leica never changes their quality standards, I'll never buy a different brand (except scopes, love my VX6).
