Wanted to show a Remington 700 drop-in bullpup chassis I've been developing

Well, I believe prototype #2 is wrapped up with the addition of a cheekpiece. It will be shipped off in the next few days for custom trigger unit R&D. This cheekpiece will be slimmed down in form factor, I believe the depth is too much. Also, the grip will be moved forward .75". It seems going down to a 13.5" LOP isn't necessary, everyone allowed to set the chassis up to fit however they wanted ended up with over a 15" LOP.

Here's the last photos I'll post of this prototype, the next update will be a while, but should include trigger footage as well as a bolt extension option. Pictured with the rifle here is the original stock the barreled action came from.

Mr Carlocks LRKM is very impressive and looks great, but is more a dedicated extra long range gun than I want my chassis to be. Mine is for short actions right now, uses AICS magazines. With a bolt extension (more on that later) it will be easy to shoot multiple shots fairly quickly.

Thanks for the clarity. I was curious.

Sneak peek at V3, lots of streamlining and ergonomic improvements, it has an ambidextrous safety and will accept both left and right handed actions:

Probably something that is apparent to all you smart folk, but the LRKM, as beautiful a rig as it is, is a single shot. Being fitted for the AICS mags is a great advantage for those looking for a mag fed S/A rifle platform.gun)Keep up the good work!! Just realized I quoted the wrong quote....
