[FONT=&quot]At the IWA in Nuremberg, the European cousin of the Shot Show, Blaser has just released their new R 8 model "Professional Success (thumbhole) Long Range" in 338LM. There might be already pictures on the internet. This system gun makes it now possible to combine f. ex. 300WM for cheaper training sessions and the 338 LM for real long-range duties in the same rifle. Many other calibre combinations and features in general are possible. The gun package includes of course important details like bipod, muzzle brake, mounting - system etc. What's your opinion?

Interesting!
Do you know whether the mag length changed with this modification?
A Blaser chambered in .338 Norma with 4" of Mag Length would definitely get me interested.

Yes, Blaser writes that their R8 Long Range Rifle will come with a special adapted trigger - magazin unit. So, there is hope.
