X-Bolt Max LR 300 PRC

I recently purchased an X-Bolt Max LR chambered in 300 PRC, according to Browning it is their standard long action. However as I am trying to mount my base rail, a Leupold Backcountry Cross slot base, the X-Bolt LA doesn't fit it. Has anyone else had this issue or am I missing something?

My Browning Hells Canyon gave me fits as well. Mine took the magnum base same as 300 RUM. Took me a bit of searching but I found one and it mounted right up. Hopefully this helps!

Well I was able to find a post on another forum that said I needed the X/LA base because even though Browning says its LA on their website it's actually a magnum action. Thanks y'all.
