Wow!!!!! I just received my first shipment of 408 Chey Tac Brass. It makes my 338 Lupa Brass look small. I knew it was a big case, but this is awesome. I can't wait to shoot the 300grn MK out of the 338 Allen Mag. This is going to be some serious fire power. I am going to have an APS 3 Port brake on this rig, but this bad boy is still going to kick pretty good. I have heard the kick, with brake, is about like a 300 Win Mag, does that sound about right. When I go to the range, I hope people have their ear plugs in.

I will not receive my dies until my rifle is completed. Kirby Allen, is builing my 338 Allen Mag, and I am hoping it will be completed by April or sooner. As soon as I get my rig and dies, I will post some pics. You can see some examples of just how large this case is by searching under 338 Allen Mag. There is a posting with different calibers, loaded, next to the (408) 338 Allen Mag.
