Will the speed of my TAC 15i decrease if I leave it in a cocked position?

I have had this question asked of me. Here is PSE engineer's reply to me.

Yes we did do some tests on that. We left the TAC cocked over night and shot it in the morning. The velocity only dropped 1.5 fps. The strings typically get faster as more shots are put on. But most of that increase happens in the first 10-20 shots.
