Which turret setup?

I just bought a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14X 50MM with standard duplex to put on my Browning A-Bolt 300 Winmag with the 26 inch barrel. I want to set this scope up to dial yardages (which is new to me) and my question is which turrets to put on it. Should I send it back to Leupold and have some put on or something else? Bill

Look at http://www.kentonindustries.com/. I have never used them as I make my own but they have a good reputation. They have an order form on-line that shows all the data they need to make your turrets.

Dialing 'yardages' is over rated... you're making the assumption that your trajectory will never change due to temperature or elevation... both of which are incorrect.

This is true, but if you are planing on hunting a specific envirionment and a season, they should work pretty well.

Send it to Leupold and get the M-1 turrets installed can't go wrong no matter what the conditions with the M-1 turrets........
