Which scope would you pick?

If you had two choices which scope would you pick and why?

Either a 4-14x44mm FFP or a 5-25x50mm FFP?

Since the reticule enlarges as the power increases but stays the same size in proportion to the target does this bother you? I heard someone say that with a FFP it is like looking down a tunnel. What does that mean? I've never looked through a FFP.

Would be used mostly for long range hunting and some target shooting to a max of 600 yards with a 6mm Norma BR.

For my old eyes and my style of hunting and shooting, I'd go with ...

4-14x44mm FFP for up to 500 yards

and

5-25x50mm FFP for 500 yards and up.

What distance do you consider long range?

I'm sure others will chime in, esp on your FFP query.
