Considering the velocities and groups, which primer would you guys use?
By the way these were fired round robin. The temp was stable all day. The next shot was not fired until the barrel was below 80 degrees right in front of the fore end.

Edited to add: Rifle weighs 7 lb 7 oz. 24" barrel. I liked every hold as the shot fired.
Edited to add: When you get old you call a Hammer Hunter 124 grainer a Sledgehammer 130 grainer.

Easy to cull down to 2, forced to choose one the BR-2.

From a curiosity POV, I would like to see the test repeated with just the 250, and the BR-2, especially this fall when temps dip a bit.

From a reality POV, I'd skip that and use the barrel life elsewhere-unless I had reason.

Thanks, guys. These tests were to decide on which load for my new bullet. This rifle has been fired 182 times. I chose the first length that would fit the magazine. I chose H4831 powder because ol' John Lachuk gave me most of a keg from WW2. I miss and thank him a lot.
