antiquated belted brass, 60 ish grains of powder to do what a decently loaded 270 can do.. or a 708 loaded with 46gr of Staball lol.
Too much recoil for what your getting, short barrel life.. but the worst part, 7 Mag owners who think there is no other hunting cartridge worth considering

7Rem Mag and 223 are the main Remington rounds I see used regularly with 280 seeing some use. Seems like they kill a lot of rounds that had promise.
