I recently bedded my Remington 700 barrel to my Bell and Carson stock, I didn't use enough release agent towards the top side of the barrel and now have glue on there. what do you guys use to take that glue off the barrel?
I recently got it Cerakoted, it shouldn't effect the finish heating it up right?Square and sharpen the end of a popsicle stick so you can use it as a scraper. Then find a way to heat the epoxy to about 250° and scrape it off.
Yeah it's coming off just tiny bits at a time. I'm going to try heating it upYou can't scratch it off?
Whatever you decide to do the sooner you do it before it fully cures the better
Not if you use a sane method of heating.I recently got it Cerakoted, it shouldn't effect the finish heating it up right?
Grind it out and start over or take it to some one who knows what they are doing.I recently bedded my Remington 700 barrel to my Bell and Carson stock, I didn't use enough release agent towards the top side of the barrel and now have glue on there. what do you guys use to take that glue off the barrel?
