Weaver problem

A couple of weeks ago my reticle broke on my V-16, so I called up Weaver and found out that without my original sales reciept ( that I no longer have) they could do nothing for me. So my question is do any of you have any ideas on what i can do with this scope, are there any outfits that repair scope reticles.

If you bought it with a credit card or check you should be able to retrieve a record
of the sale. The store may even be able to help you out.
