CatShooter: Re your excellent information on setting up scopes, can you answer the following about setting the eyepiece ?
When the reticle is fully sharp and black immediately when you look thorough the scope,
Then back off one turn and do it again (look ?) to make sure you are in the same place (?).
Then lock the eyepiece and leave it alone forever.
Final question is, lock it one turn back or put back in one turn for sharpest image and lock it there ?

      Many thanks, Bill

Cat Shooter: My son is just starting up with his Hornady 50bmg press and we can't figure out a technical problem - probably ours not the equipment. The de-primer pin and rod slip up when he raises the case up; I think we have set the die threaded to the correct depth since the charging handle cams into place. We have tightened the rod bolt with the tapered clamp so that it is tight and locked on the initial cycle but it gives way after the neck throat resizer enters the casing - the pin never reaches the primer to punch it out because the pin and rod just ride up as the case is raised. What are we doing wrong? Thanks for the lesson. KAKFlygun
