VX 6 question

when I install custom dial is it still going to be waterproof, or will water still be able to creep underneath the cap when the rifle is on your back and its raining?

Also, do the cap threads just get covered up or is there something that comes with the cds dials that screws on the threads where the cap was?

Dyllan,

Removal of the elevation turret cap does not reduce the "weather proofing seal integrity" of the scope and installation of the custom CDS dial "covers up" (like an umbrella) the exterior threads where the cap use to be...anyway that is on my VX-6!
