ultra sonic cleaning fluid

Can anyone tell me if there a less expensive alternative to the cleaning fluid sold for cleaning my brass

Some folks say to use vinegar, lemishine, and dawn...But I've never tried it. I'll stick to the Hornady sonic solution that works great for me.

I use lemishine from Walmart. It works the best as a cheap alternative. The best overall mixture for super shiny brass is the hornady sonic cleaner with lemishine. I bought a gallon of it for a decent price. Lemishine is a few bucks.

1:1 vinegar and water and a few drops of dawn. Works like a champ. Does not get them super shiny but add some Birchwood Casey Case Cleaner and your good on that end.

This is some dirty nasty old range pickups that I cleaned using just Hornady sonic solution, them tumbling in corn cob for a little while with frankford Arsenal brass polish.
