I,am over here in the Blue Mountains of eastern Or. where the Wolf problem is just in the making. The Lions have the Deer & Elk herds down to nothing and now here comes the Wolfs. Great job of game management,,, right!!!!!!!!

First off "Turd", that's simply a classic handle! Welcome to LRH!!

Which county if you don't mind me asking.
I lived in Baker, Halfway, Richland, & North Powder. Baker County is my true home no matter where I currently hang my hat.
It's always good to see new members here from home.

As for the wolves, ya. Broz, & cowboy, Just Google Imnaha wolf pack & you'll see why we have hardly any Elk left there. Montana guys, & I know many of you, your Not alone in your fight against unchecked predators. You guys "Remember the Big Hole" & we "Remember the Imnaha". The Blue Mountains, for those of you who don't already know, is ranch country. Were all in the fight. Blues, Elkhorns, Eagle Caps, Wallowas, Imnahas & mountains all over Montana. (I lived in Wise Rivet for a time).

If "Turd" is from the Blues, he's good company 9 times out of 10. If.he's from Baker County, its bumped up to 9.9 times out of 10

winmag,,, You can give me a 9.9 Grant county boy,,, or I should say,,,ol man here. I am very aware of the wolf problem in the West. **** Fools.
I,am on the trap line every day, 40+ miles a day on a wheeler. I have first hand exper at seeing what pred can do.
100 + dead coyotes, trapped & snared last winter.
34 out of one deep canyon.

Probably shouldnt't turn Turd's welcome post into a wolf thread. But the 100 yote he trapped / "harvested" and 37 from one gulch just breaths more life into my theory. We have been hunting / trapping / shooting yotes on sight 24 / 7 and 365 for years and they are still everywhere. So wolves being a top preditor why would they be any different now that they have a foot hold and are harder to find and kill?

Turd, another Welcome and it seems you are a guy we need on our team. I hope you have a passion to find wolves it your traps.
