So after moving the turret cap to reset zero I find that my rifle is now no where near on paper anymore . Probably me doing something stupid šŸ™ƒ . But it appears I've now got some trash floating around inside. Anyone have this issue? If so how's the warranty. The scope was bought used .
Thanks

The trash happened (moving black flakes inside the tube that would come and go in the view) to me several years ago on this exact model. Customer service was great although it did take some time.

I have had more since this happened and currently have a few of the hunter models. They have all been excellent without issues.

I've had one for years, with many hunts, and a lot of rounds. No issues. Sounds like you need to send yours in. If it was only debris on the internal glass, you could probably give it a whack on its side. TT's CS is good though.

I have "a few" TT315s.
I bet you did something wrong when attempting to reset zero. Should just have to loosen up the turret allen screws and turn it back down. If you hear it clicking when you do...you missed loosening a screw. Should not adjust once the allen screws are loosened. Just a smooth turn.

As for the debris, I have never had an issue, so I can't tell you how good or bad TT CS is. I am sure they will take care of you.

I know you are in far west NM (Gilbert), but if you need any help in person, hit me up. I am north central Phx area.

I actually had the same thing happen on a 5-25. Sent it in and they sent it back in about 3 weeks corrected. For what it was I have no clue but it actually happened on my first model. Since then I have bought 2 more and have had no issue.

So the nut behind the scope must have really had it messed up. Out at the range today and the 280ai was 18 moa low at 25yds . Right left was good so I just messed up elevation . Dialed it to shoot about 3 inches low at 25 and moved out to 100yds . A few tweaks and all is happy . I reset the elevation and confirmed zero was still on. Now to finish load development.

What about the debris in the reticle? I'd still send it in while it's early in the year and have peace of mind by the time fall rolls around. They are top dollar scopes with CS that is excellent from what I have heard.
