So i just pulled the trigger and ordered a Meopta Meostar HD 20-60X80mm spotting scope. Now I need a quality tripod within my budget to maximize it.
Really not even sure where to begin. My budget is around $2-250.00.
I dont really do solo backpack type hunts for days, but I day hunt 3-5 miles in Idaho's big willderness areas from 5-8000 feet so I dont want the heaviest thing out there.
I need something that is full size, light enough to pack around the mountains. I have a $90 vanguard espod for the range, but its so herky jerky when trying to pan around and falling apart after just a couple years light use
.
Suggestions? What to get something good enough to really maximize this new spotter
