Thinking of upgrading the trigger in my rem model 7

One option would be to fit a rifle basix trigger. In order to retain the safety do I simply swap out the trigger safety linkage?

The other option could be to fit the Holland model 700 trigger springs available from Brownells, I assume these would fit a model7 trigger as I think the only difference in the 700 trigger versus the model 7 trigger (pre XTR) is the safety?

Which of these two option would work out easiest given I am looking for a crisp 2lb break?

Timney makes a replacement trigger for the 700 that has the safety
installed and is a simple swap with the Remington trigger.

It is fully adjustable and cost around $70:00 or less on sale.

It is very nice and my go to unless the client wants something more
expensive like the Jewell(around $200:00) and I have never had a
complaint with the Timney.

For the Rifle Basix trigger, you got it, all you do is use all the original trigger safety parts.
