Tikka T3x 7mm-08

Hi Gang. I just purchased the above 7-08 for my son. I have a few different calibers I reload for. Being new to the 7-08 was wondering if I could get some load suggestions using 120/140 Nosler baltip and powder choice. It will be used for whitetails. 100/200 yards.

And I'm getting one this afternoon for my boys! Gladly piggybacking here. Any suggestions on what factory loads tend to shoot well out of this particular gun?

Great choice for your son. I would look at Varget, as I've had great success with it under Sierra 140's (after struggling with H414). I suspect it would work admirably for either weight bullet.

I couldn't find anything to shoot out of mine. Eventually rebarreled to a 22 creedmoor

Well varget and 120 gr no's bt gave 1/2 in groups

My 7mm-08 T3x has been the easiest rifle I've found to load for. It shoots any bullet around 140gr very well with IMR4350, H4350 or Varget.
