At around 5500ft of elevation and a muzzle velocity a 150gr eldx is still at 1800fps at 800yds. Congrats, you're in a perfect place.

I'd vote for 280AI rebarrel. In my 7mm-08 I was shooting 145gr LRX at 2850 fps. I've switched to 280AI (different rifle) and shooting 143gr HH at 3200 fps. I'm still working on the final load, but will soon try the 145gr LRX in the 280AI. Getting 3400 fps with 120gr HH..

The cheapest route is to just have a smith rechamber it in 284win or 280ai with a new mag and bolt stop.
Maybe look at the 7SAW as well.
Sometimes all you need to extend your range is a better powder and/or a higher bc bullet.
